HOUSING MADNESS

Goodness tonight is one of the most tiring conversations I had with my family. The skype was horrible cause it kept breaking up. Sis in Japan, parents in Singapore and me in Melbourne. The connection was just bad.

But it wasn't the connection part that was difficult. It was the topic on HOUSING. Now a little update...

I totally made up my mind to stay at my current place BUT  new rent just came up for grabs! To make things short...
new rental property- SAVE AUS 7200 for 2 years ( as compared to the current house)
                             - downside- NOT FURNISHED. and i reckon that i will have to spend say max 2000
                                                to furnish the house.So I will still save say 5000 ?

But my mom doesn't like the idea cause the house is furnised and once I commit to this new property with my friend, i am totally tied down. So even IF, one day, me and her have a huge argument or we start hating with other, I can STUCK. I cannot move or anything

So what my mom is trying to say is, the 7200 that i can save doesn't not account for for the price of committment. If we really have this massive arguement, I will have to think of how to get rid of the furnitures/ sell them.

I did think of those things really.

The GOLDEN RULE of sharing a home is-


NEVER SHARE A PLACE WITH YOUR GOOD FRIENDS.


 and I didn;t hear this from just 1 person. I heard it from every single person I talk to.

But, what I am thinking is, I wanna help my parnets save money! 5000 is a huge sum of money and if i can save that, WHY NOT???

Gosh, this is killing me! Why did a new rental property have to come up and you know what is the funny thing? This new rental property is MY NEIGHBOUR! LITERALLY! It's just beside my damn apartment! I stay in 1403, the property up for rent is 1404! WHAT IS HAPPENING? Is God trying to help me? I will let god decide, if he really wants to give me that apartment, he will provide that apartment for me.

Anyways, what do you guys think???? let me break it down for you...

Cheaper apartment
- UNFURNISHED ( provides- waching machine, cupboards. No sofa, fridge, tv, beds, dinning table, desks)
- 2 bedrooms
- 1 toilet (which means I have to share)
- save aus 5000 in the l long run for 2 years
- price of committment. not happy, have to consider furnitures and most importantly, friendship broken.

Current place
- FURNISHED
- my OWN toilet
- downside: MY HOUSEMATE IS HAVING A BABY NEXT YEAR ( dunno how conducive my environment will be). going to be a houswife.
- no price of commitment. not happy, move.

SO GUYS, PLEASE TELL ME YOUR OPINION!!! I WOULD TOTALLY LOVE TO HEAR WHAT YOU THINK ABOUT THIS ISSUE! HELP ME OUT HERE! HAHAHA
