Reading that Malaysia has 2 confirmed Swine flu cases and MOH said that it is a matter of time before Singapore gets hit, really scares me. The main thing is that I don't want my family and friends to get infected. Australia has the H1N1 virus but I am not that worried because Australia ia so big. Singapore is so small and the percentage of the virus spreading is really high.

SARS was bad enough and having another gobal pandemic is something that I was not really expecting. My mommy is in the healthcare sector so it makes me really worried. I can only pray to God to ask him to protect my mom.

Singapore becoming a H1N1 virus region will also mean that I cannot go back to Singapore and it will be really difficult to return back to Australia (if i can go back to Singapore) as well.

In my opinion, that Malaysian student who flew back from the US was really irresponsible and quite brainless really.She not only caused the entire flight to be infected but she is like the 'Patient-Zero' in Malaysia to cause the spread! Damn her!

I hope, all those brainy scientist who keep talking about science chem bio virus bacteria and how great medical advancements .... will find a vaccine or cure really soon. H1N1 virus has been around since 2005, I wonder what was the catalyst that cause it to spread so rapidly this year. Maybe Judgement day is around the corner.
