The starting of FRESHMEN YEAR for me! heehee!
Kinda excited and scare at the same time!
The experience I had in Trinity College was so different with Melbourne Uni! I feel as if some cultural shock just hit me. There were so many Aussies and their slang can scare you a bit some time! I think I will have to get use to it. My senior told me that the only way to succeed in an Australian uni is to be more open. As in ask more questions and be more participative in class! Gosh... I have to learn to be that Eleanor! It's gonnna take a while!

Anyways, met my host leader today. Her name is Laurel and she's an ABC (Aussie Born Chinese). Her parents are from Malaysia but she was born here so she has an Aussie slang. haha... she told us that there are like 20 international students and 10 locals. Wonder why! I thought there were suppose to be more locals than internationals!

So there were like 10 people attached to Laurel and just within our group itself, there were so many different people!hmmm let's see...we have
Eleanor (like duh! me)-trinity college ,spore
Esther-trinity college, spore
Amy- trinity college ,malaysia
Bidina- VJC, Spore
Sheena- Hong Kong
Cathy- American. She studies in Boston but she's from New Jersey. Oh, she's an exchange student so she'll be here like for a year... yup yup
Samuel- Hong Kong but studied in Brisbane for a year. Currently, he's on a scholarship
Desmond- RJC, spore
Ka Yung- Whitely College, Hong Kong
Cassie- True blue Melbourne gal
yup so 10 of us!!!!!!

Haha FINALLY i got my electives! It's Riffs: Discovering the Acoustic Guitar 1!! woohoo! Excited about it! It's a beginner course for guitar! hehee! I wanna learn how to play the guitar since I can't afford a piano here! I will love to play for the church! heehee! Chuan, my landlord's husband is helping me to get a guitar this week! haha ELEANOR IS GETTING A NEW GUITAR! heehee! Coolness! Oh well, for that course i have to write essays man... not that cool after all! heehee! Aww but I love music! muack!
