Woohoo! Start of a new week! Came to work really early today! Reach NUH at about 7.45am although work only starts at 9.30am because my mom has some meetings to attend. Chinese new year is around the corner but I think many would agree with me that they don't really feel the festive season this year. My hair is in a mess and I don't really know what to do with it. I was thinking of spa perm and red highlights. Sue-maine recommended me this really good place so I am trying out this place this week I guess.

The critics were speculating that 2008 will not be a good year because of the bad economy and the recessions. I 'm not sure about that but trouble is already starting to stir among my relatives. It's really sad to heard that this year hasn't been a very good year for my aunt, actually her life was never smooth sailing. Since young, she had the hardest life among all my grandma's 7 children. She has 2 kids, a boy and a gal, aged 13 and 20 respectively and she was married twice. Last year, her daughter didn't wanted to acknowledge her anymore and have gone to stay with a mid 40 year old man who was her boss. This year, my aunt found out that my uncle has a china galfriend and wants to divorce him after the chinese new year. Either of them is ready to take their son and due to this dysfunctional family, he had develop a habit for stealing. I feel a sense of sympathy for my aunt and the sea of problems she has to face. This is her second marriages and yet it has failed again. She had problems searching a job because she was not as educated as compare to ther rest of her siblings. Her youth was wasted on looking after her brothers and her sisters. She seldom had the chance to go to school and maybe that is also the reason for the lack of respect from her children. She's a very devoted buddhist but I just pray for her and her family and specially her son. It's difficult to grow up in a dysfunctional family. Haiz, a new year with new problems.

Didn't attend church last week. Guilty. I have to go this week!haha!It's 9.10 am now. Time to get ready to start work soon! I know it's monday but I am loooking forward to SAT-UR-DAY! saturday saturday saturday!
